A Greener Web for Eco Change
The web has seen a number of 'green' sites promoting eco change emerge to recieve more coverage recently partially due to events like the climate summit in New York which ran this week.Amongst these sites we have seen the likes of hugg - a green version of digg, Greener and GreenMaven - two green search engines and some great tools including zerofootprint.net , a great place to start if you are interested in minimising your carbon footprint.
Even Yahoo has released its own green site at green.yahoo.com, a forerunner in a trend of other high profile sites focused on a postitive change for the environment.
We have reached a stage where we can no longer ignore climate change and the web is a perfect place for international communities to work under one baton to promote action orientated change.
